We are looking for an award-winning Creative Director with extensive AI production experience to lead the development and integration of artificial intelligence into our creative strategy, processes and outputs.
The Creative Director will be driving the creation of compelling copy and conceptual ideas that meet both client objectives and agency standards. The role requires a balance of creative thinking, leadership, and a deep understanding of the advertising landscape, ensuring that the work produced is both strategically sound and creatively inspiring. You will be responsible for shaping how AI enhances storytelling, design, and the execution of integrated, cross-channel campaigns, while mentoring teams to embrace emerging technologies in their creative workflows todevelop ground-breaking creative content.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead AI-driven creative strategy across brand, digital, and experiential platforms.
- Creates high-quality deliverables and generates new and innovative ideas, alongside partners and under the supervision of ECD
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute AI-enhanced campaigns
- Guide and inspire creative teams to experiment with generative AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies to produce better work
- Understanding the client's needs with the ability to develop, present and sell creative concepts to clients
- Ensure creative outputs meet brand standards while pushing boundaries through innovation
- Presents and sells AI-enhanced ideas to clients listens and interprets client feedback to refine creative output
- Collaborates to refine creative briefs and interacts with project teams to understand business objectives and audience demographics, translating concepts into effective visualizations
- Stay ahead of AI trends and translate them into actionable creative opportunities
- Fluency in both digital and traditional channels, including all social media platforms, content creation, video, and understands best production practices
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to expand current assignments and acquire new projects
- Uses presentation skills and command of visual ideas to help win pitches
- Hiring and managing group of direct reports
- Regional experience will be an added bonus
Requirements:
- At least 8 to 12 years of relevant experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative work that integrates AI or emerging technologies.
- Proven experience in creative leadership within an advertising agency, innovation lab or similar environment, especially in a client-facing capacity.
- Deep understanding of generative AI tools (e.g. Midjourney, Runway, Sora, etc) with familiarity in machine learning concepts, data-driven design, and creative automation.
- Ability to bridge creative vision with technical feasibility.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Exceptional communication, storytelling and analytical skills, coupled with a strategic mindset.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience mentoring juniors.
- Proactive approach with a passion for collaboration and a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of creative recognition and awards is highly desirable.
