Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Sales Generation & Client Outreach

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new corporate and individual clients to rapidly grow the sales pipeline.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales proposals and quotations to close deals swiftly.
  • Upsell premium food and beverage packages, add-ons, and catering upgrades to maximize revenue per client.
  • Proactively generate leads through cold calls, networking, trade shows, and marketing events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to secure repeat and referral business.
  • Respond swiftly to enquiries and follow up relentlessly until deals are closed.

2. Event Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with kitchen, delivery/logistics teams, and third-party vendors (e.g., equipment rental, decorators) to ensure smooth and timely catering service.
  • Manage event timelines, setup, and food service flow to deliver seamless guest experiences.
  • Conduct thorough pre-event and post-event briefings with internal teams and clients to confirm details and resolve any issues.

3. Client Management & Retention

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business and future catering opportunities.
  • Handle last-minute changes or urgent client requests professionally and calmly, turning challenges into opportunities.
  • Gather and analyze client feedback after events to continuously improve service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and focus on Enterprise and Singapore Government key accounts.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field, with at least 2 years experience in event sales, catering, or hospitality.
  • Prior experience in sales or catering roles is preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong networking and client relationship management skills, with experience handling corporate and government accounts preferred.
  • Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple events/projects under tight deadlines.
