ETRM Application Support

We are representing a reputable oil & gas trading firm in Singapore that is strengthening its trading systems and ETRM support function. This opportunity is well suited for candidates with hands-on exposure to trading systems who are keen to build long-term expertise supporting front-to-back energy trading operations.

What you will be doing:

You will support the day-to-day operation of the ETRM platform, working closely with Trading, Risk, Operations and Finance teams to ensure accurate trade capture and smooth system performance. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting system and trade booking issues, supporting price curves and market data feeds, monitoring daily batch processes, and assisting with P&L, risk and settlement-related queries. You will also support system enhancements, UAT testing, and work with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve incidents and improve system stability.

What we are looking for:

You should hold a degree in Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics or a related discipline, with 2–3 years of experience supporting an ETRM or trading platform within an oil & gas or commodities trading environment. A good understanding of trading workflows, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with front-office and middle-office users are important. Candidates who are detail-oriented, resilient in a fast-paced trading environment, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team will do well in this role.
