Environmental Control Officer (ECO)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with the latest environmental regulations on construction sites
• Develop and implement Site Environmental Control Measures to mitigate environmental risks
• Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify the irregularities
• Propose practical action to eliminate any foresee able ill-health, prevention of pollution at workplace
• Coordinate and communicate with government authorities, clients, and external providers on environmental control matters
• To provide monthly report on ECO system operation and performance
• Continuous improvement on EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management standards

Requirements

• Registered ECO (NEA)
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience
• knowledge of all relevant environmental policies, legislations, and guidelines, independent, with strong discipline and accountability.
