Architectural Engineer

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1.Technicial Leadership @ Governance
. Provide overall technical leadership for all HSEQ, NDT and other testing
. Establish, review and approve technical procedure, inspection methodologies, and work instructions.
. Act as the Company's highest technical authority for HSEQ & testing -related decisions.
. Ensure the technical integrity, consistency, and accuracy of inspection and testing results and reports.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation
. Ensure full compliance with Singapore regulations, including but not limited to:
- Ministry of Manpower (MOM) requirements
- Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations
- Radiation Protection Act and NEA requirements (for radiography)
. Maintain the company accreditations such as:
- ISO 9001/ ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 / BizSafe
- SAC (Singapore Accreditation Council) requirements
- Client-specific and industry codes (ASME,API,AWS,ISO,BS,EN)
. Act as the primary technical Liaison with regulators, auditors, and accrediting bodies.
3. Technology Advancement & Innovation
. Drive digitalization and automation initiatives to improve inspection and testing efficiency, reliability and traceability.
. Collaborate with equipment suppliers, vendors and technology partners.
. Lead technical R&D initiatives aligned with industry trends and client needs.

Requirements:
1. Technical & Professional Qualifications
. Strong working knowledge of international codes and standards (AMSE,API,ISO,ASTM)
. Experience acting as Technical Authority is highly preferred.
. Certificate of Shipyard Supervisor Course/Safety Supervisor Course.
. Certified to Risk management level II.
. Certified to Advance Workplace Safety & Health
2. Experience
. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the inspection and testing.
. Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role.
. Demonstrated experience managing accredited inspection bodies and regulatory compliance in Singapore or similar jurisdictions.
. Exposure to QHSE requirements.
3. Skills & Competencies
. Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
. Excellent technical writing and report review skills.
. Ability to translate complex technical matters into practical business solutions.
. High level of integrity, accountability, and safety awareness.
. Strong communication skills for engagement with regulators, auditors and clients.
