Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role based in Singapore, with flexibility for some remote work. The Engineering Director/Head of Engineering will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives to support The Pandemic Fund's mission. Responsibilities include leading engineering teams, managing projects, and ensuring the development and implementation of robust, secure, and scalable software solutions. The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Team Management, Team Leadership, and the ability to inspire and guide multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven experience in Engineering Management and Project Management, with a track record of delivering complex technical initiatives.
- Strong technical proficiency in Software Development and the ability to oversee the design and implementation of scalable solutions.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Experience working in global or international organizations, particularly in sectors related to humanitarian, public health, or development, is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with the healthcare or global health sector is advantageous.
