Job Description

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team to align engineering and quoting activities with overall business objectives.

Establish, monitor, and drive departmental KPIs, including performance trends, targets, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, team leads, and technicians to enhance team capability and performance.

Oversee the development and upkeep of all technical documentation, including drawings, 3D models, NPI records, SOPs, and operational manuals.

Ensure compliance with ISO standards while continuously improving processes through documented procedures and best practices.

Maintain strong oversight of ERP/MRP systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and effective utilization.

Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions through structured processes such as CAR (Corrective Action Requests) and OFI (Opportunities for Improvement).

Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and End-of-Life (EOL) processes to ensure smooth product lifecycle management.

Coordinate with internal departments and customers to provide timely updates on engineering projects and RFQ (Request for Quotation) status.

Implement structured checklists to ensure all technical and operational requirements (e.g., equipment, tooling, packaging) are thoroughly reviewed prior to order processing.

Define and standardize costing models, including labor, materials, pricing, and lead times, to ensure consistent and timely quotation delivery.

Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing while maintaining quality and value in sourcing decisions.

Deliver accurate and timely cost estimates to support business competitiveness and profitability.

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Business Unit Director.

Conduct performance evaluations and manage staff assessments to support employee development and accountability.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field equivalent experience will be considered.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting.

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and related processes.

Strong team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and deadline-driven environment.

Demonstrates strong multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail and effective prioritization skills.

Excellent communication skills, with strong listening ability to understand and address customer needs.

Proactive and open to challenges, with a mindset for continuous improvement in customer relations and business operations.

Self-motivated and results-driven, with a focus on accuracy and timely task completion.

Able to follow instructions while executing responsibilities efficiently.

Capable of interpreting technical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and customer-specific procedures.
