Job Summary:
Lead enterprise system development and EUC solutions within a banking environment while managing teams and stakeholders across complex IT projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain EUC tools using Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel.
- Design, develop, and support systems leveraging SSIS, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, PowerShell scripts, and Windows Server technologies.
- Manage end-to-end Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using a Waterfall methodology.
- Lead and supervise a team of 3-4 engineers while contributing as a hands-on developer.
- Act as the primary liaison with internal stakeholders, including the IT department.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to end users and non-IT stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in system development and enterprise IT environments.
- Prior experience as a Consultant in an established consulting firm.
- Japanese language proficiency (Business level) required for effective communication with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Experience working on banking IT department projects within regulated environments.
- Hands-on development experience with at least one programming language.
- Strong experience with databases and server-related technologies, including SSIS, Stored Procedures, PowerShell scripts, SQL Server, and Windows Server.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end SDLC in a Waterfall development approach.
- Team management experience with a proactive and collaborative leadership style.
- Strong logical thinking skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-IT users.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively under strict banking IT policies and controlled development environments.
- Proficiency in English and Japanese language (business-level) for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Access VBA (forms, queries, modules, tables, reports, macros) is an added advantage.
- Development experience using .NET or C# is an added advantage.
