Job Summary
CGi seeks an Engineer - Project & Business Development to drive growth and support projects in Exhaust Management Sub-Fab Infrastructure & Critical Subsystems, ensuring successful delivery of advanced abatement solutions and fab-support services across Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Sub-Fab Infrastructure & Critical Subsystems to expand market presence.
- Conduct site visits and perform technical evaluations to assess client needs and system requirements.
- Prepare detailed proposals tailored to client specifications and project goals.
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to support sales and business development teams in client engagements.
- Analyze client infrastructure plans and industry standards to design forward-looking solutions that secure future business growth.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure solutions align with client requirements and project specifications.
- Provide technical support during project execution, installation, and commissioning of fab support systems to ensure successful implementation.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform and support business strategy development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of project activities, client interactions, and technical details for transparency and continuity.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical) or related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in engineering project execution and/or business development support.
- Good understanding of waferfab and high-tech industry support tools (abatement systems, process chillers, vacuum pumps, heaters, etc.).
- Preferred: Hands-on field experience (minimum 2 years) in one or more of the following:
- Air Pollution Control Equipment / Scrubbers
- Pumps / Chillers
- Gas & Chemical Supply Equipment
- Facilities M&E and HVAC Systems & Services
- Strong technical communication and client-facing skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to support sales, proposals, or client acquisition processes.
