Job Summary
Lead maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical machinery and systems, perform protection relay testing, and guide colleagues to ensure operational reliability and project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, commissioning, and replacement of machinery and systems including chillers, motors, switchgears, generators, and transformers to ensure operational efficiency
- Perform secondary current injection tests on motor, generator, transformer, and protection relays for high voltage (up to 22KV) and low voltage distribution networks to verify system protection integrity
- Guide and support colleagues in technical tasks to enhance team performance and project delivery
- Manage work schedules effectively to meet tight deadlines and project requirements
- Communicate clearly and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and maintenance operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Proficient communication skills in English to facilitate effective teamwork and reporting
- Ability to commit to extended working hours as required by project demands
