Evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of testing procedures and strategies for the latest NPI products.
Perform electro-optical tests to characterize active optoelectronic devices and photonic integrated circuits.
Generate test reports with measurement results and detailed analyses in a timely manner
Contribute actively to the build-up of test and characterization capabilities of the Photonics Test Lab, including maintenance of test set-ups and jigs and calibration of the measurement instrumentation, as well as software control and automation of the set-ups.
Work with design engineers to support DFT (Design for testability) and ensure testability of opical modules.
Basic understanding of engineering principles such as basics of circuit design and electrical testing and concepts
Hands-on experience with power supply, source measurement unit, optical power meter etc.
Experience in cross-functional collaboration, especially with NPI, process, quality, and production teams.
Any other duties as and when assigned by your superiors.
Requirements:
Graduate with relevant Engineering faculty.
Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel or statistical software (e.g. JMP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and teamwork.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the engineering field.
Adaptability and willingness to work under supervision as part of a team.
Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative on small-scale tasks.
