Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Plan and execute daily manufacturing operations in collaboration with the Shift Equipment team, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the overall status and recovery plan of the tools. Assess the maximum capability of the tools to meet daily output goals.
  • Collaborate with Area Engineers, Process Engineers, and Equipment Engineers to understand release capabilities and discuss the most optimized running modes for the tools to maximize utilization and achieve daily output requirements.
  • Anticipate upstream run modes and understand line variations, communicating additional release requirements to the Area Engineers.
  • Act as the liaison between facilities, vendor representatives, and shift personnel. Coordinate team efforts in case of Fab emergencies and evacuations.
  • Prepare and publish detailed reports of the shift output, summarizing the overall equipment capacity and point out area of improvement on standby and loss time reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure all team members complete their learning and training as scheduled, maintaining a high standard of competency and compliance.

Requirements:

  • The candidate should possess a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Engineering from a recognized institute of higher learning.
  • Equivalent experience in cleanroom wafer fabrication is highly valued.
  • Relevant internship experience or prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience and willingness to work non-standard hours, including compressed 12-hour night shifts.
  • Outstanding organizational, coordination, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate team members from multiple sites and diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and basic coding skills are desired.
  • Relevant experience as an emergency response team (ERT) member or first-aid/first-responder is valued.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a demanding and dynamic environment.
  • A natural curiosity and tendency to learn new things independently.
