Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in Singapore's construction sector, particularly in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems. You will be responsible for both engineering design and quantity surveying functions, including project coordination, cost estimation, and site inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to customer enquiries and conduct site surveys.
- Prepare detailed designs and proposals for customers.
- Plan and schedule works according to contractual deadlines.
- Oversee daily project operations and ensure smooth execution.
- Perform M&E design and produce technical drawings.
- Coordinate with project teams and maintain documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and building assessments.
- Prepare reports, contracts, cost analyses, and risk assessments.
- Attend project and progress meetings.
- Coordinate with clients for project handover and submission of documents.
- Prepare tender submissions, material cost estimates, and contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Any other duties assigned by the management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Qualification:
Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent. - Experience:
2 years of relevant working experience in Singapore. - Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, M&E systems, and regulatory codes.
