Job Summary
Manage site operations and coordinate M&E design and installation to ensure project delivery meets specifications, timelines, and client requirements. Provide technical support and oversee subcontractor and supplier engagement for cost-effective execution.
Responsibilities
- Calculate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and invite subcontractors for accurate cost estimation.
- Source quotations and specifications from suppliers and contractors to support procurement decisions.
- Collect Bills of Quantities (BQ) and arrange cost comparisons to optimize project budgets.
- Attend internal and external meetings to align project progress and resolve issues.
- Perform site inspections to verify work compliance with specifications and drawings.
- Prepare reports and method statements as required to document project status and procedures.
- Supervise daily site installation activities to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including supervising and monitoring site labor force performance.
- Conduct handover inspections with consultant engineers and clients to confirm project completion.
- Follow up with clients to ensure smooth project handover and address any outstanding matters.
- Apply knowledge of civil, structural, and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) departments to support integrated project delivery.
- Check technical specifications, M&E drawings, and related documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate drawing updates with clients and main contractors based on meetings and discussions.
- Produce M&E services design drawings, including electrical systems, ELV systems, fire protection, plumbing, and waste management.
- Draft detailed M&E shop drawings, as-built drawings, standard details, single line diagrams (SLD), layouts, and schematics based on preliminary concepts, sketches, calculations, and specifications.
- Provide technical support and assistance to project managers and engineers throughout all project stages.
