Overall Job Responsibility
To support the delivery of employment services for persons with disabilities (PWDs), with a focus on facilitating job placements for clients who are harder to place and strengthening PWD supply.
The role involves working with PWD clients, employment partners and employers to optimise matching outcomes, address placement barriers, and provide case facilitation support. This includes job matching, job carving, and coordinating with various stakeholders to improve placement outcomes for clients with complex and niche profiles.
Support projects or initiatives that better match PWDs with employer needs, serving as a bridge between supply and demand to improve placement outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Employment Facilitation & Job Placement
- Support placement of PWDs, particularly clients who are harder to place due to complex and/or niche needs.
- Conduct job matching and job carving by engaging employers to identify, negotiate and shape suitable job opportunities aligned to client profiles.
- Identify and develop viable placement pathways, including proactive job development of non-traditional roles, to improve matching outcomes.
- Track placement outcomes, identify gaps, and improve workflows and processes to enhance matching effectiveness.
Case Facilitation & Coordination
- Provide targeted case facilitation support where required, including understanding key barriers to employment.
- Surface case-level insights and challenges to inform improvements in placement approaches.
Partner & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with employment partners to review hard-to-place cases and co-develop placement strategies.
- Build working relationships with SSAs, employers and ecosystem partners to expand job opportunities.
- Support regular case discussions and reviews with partners to track progress.
Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience
- Degree holder with 5–7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in employment, social services, or client-facing roles.
- Experience in working with persons with disabilities or disadvantaged groups would be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex and ambiguous cases.
- Resourceful and resilient, with a proactive approach to overcoming placement challenges.
- Comfortable engaging employers and stakeholders, with good negotiation and influencing skills.
- Able to manage multiple cases and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to track cases, outcomes and follow-ups effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
