Electrical Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of electrical engineering works across project phases. This role plays a critical part in ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and seamless site coordination within a multidisciplinary project environment.

You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Technical Leadership

• Lead the planning, review, and execution of the electrical engineering scope in alignment with project objectives and technical specifications

• Ensure compliance with local regulatory standards and industry best practices

• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies during project phases

2. Site Coordination & Execution

• Chair and participate in technical and site coordination meetings

• Oversee site activities to ensure quality, safety, and timely progress

• Resolve technical and operational issues efficiently to maintain project momentum

3. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with consultants, contractors, project managers, and internal stakeholders

• Provide technical clarification and ensure electrical requirements are accurately interpreted and implemented

• Maintain strong communication to align deliverables with overall project milestones

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Review and endorse technical submissions, drawings, and method statements

• Prepare documentation for regulatory approvals and project sign-off

• Ensure all engineering documentation meets compliance and audit requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects

• Strong understanding of electrical design standards and local regulatory requirements

• Proven experience in site coordination and contractor management

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
