Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily, ad-hoc, and shutdown maintenance activities to ensure safety, cost-efficiency, and timely execution.
- Lead and mentor a team of senior technicians and superintendents in plant maintenance operations.
- Review, develop, and improve maintenance plans, procedures, and work instructions, including documentation for audits and ISO compliance.
- Support predictive and preventive maintenance activities by analyzing data from critical electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Provide prompt technical support to production and engineering teams; lead root cause investigations and troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
- Take ownership of minor modification and improvement projects involving E&I systems.
- Oversee and coordinate plant shutdown maintenance activities, including statutory inspections.
- Conduct in-house technical briefings and toolbox talks to enhance operational knowledge across teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement projects and optimize reliability across the site.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in plant maintenance within a chemical, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Solid understanding of plant E&I systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and instrumentation systems.
