Job Summary
Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment while ensuring safety compliance and effective teamwork on-site.
Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, testing, and commissioning electrical systems and equipment to support project completion
- Perform basic maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting tasks under supervision to ensure system functionality
- Read and interpret simple electrical drawings and wiring diagrams to follow installation and repair instructions
- Follow workplace safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain tools, equipment, and housekeeping at work sites to ensure operational readiness and safety
- Record job activities accurately, report issues promptly, and escalate faults when necessary to support resolution
- Collaborate closely with engineers, supervisors, and contractors on-site to coordinate work and ensure quality
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of electrical systems and safety practices to perform tasks effectively
- Show willingness to learn and participate in on-the-job training to develop skills and knowledge
- Work effectively in a team and follow instructions to contribute to project success
- Maintain physical fitness to perform on-site work in construction, plant, or facility environments
- Exhibit a positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility to uphold work standards and safety
