We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and supervision of electrical systems for commercial interior fit-outs. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems into overall spatial design.
Responsibilities:
- Review and design electrical system drawings and specifications for commercial interior fitouts, covering lighting, power distribution, control systems, and related mechanical & electrical (M&E) elements.
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, project managers, and contractors to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall spatial design.
- Ensure designs comply with Singapores building regulations, safety codes, and industry best practices.
- Supervise and inspect electrical installation work on-site; test and commission systems to guarantee functionality and safety.
- Evaluate technical submittals, singleline diagrams, and procurement documentation for materials and equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during construction and revisions, coordinating closely with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with M&E subcontractors to uphold schedules, budget, and quality of execution.
What Were Looking For:
- At least 2 years experience in M&E, construction, or interior fitout environments.
- Reading drawings, coordinating systems, managing on-site electrical work.
- Comfortable reading singleline diagrams and test packs, with the ability to produce and evaluate technical documentation.
- Familiarity with healthcare or specialized commercial fitouts (e.g., retail, airport) is a bonus.
- Registration (or eligibility) with Professional Engineers Board Singapore is an advantage.
