Job Scope
Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of safety
Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations
Maintain accurate records and generate detailed reports on EHS performance metrics
Provide guidance and training to employees on safe work practices and emergency response procedures
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new developments in EHS management
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in an EHS role within the chemical or refinery industry
Registered WSHO is a plus
Thorough understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations and their practical application
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organisation
Proven track record of implementing successful EHS initiatives and driving continuous improvement
