Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Early Intervention Teacher to support young children withdevelopmental delays or disabilities through structured, individualizedintervention programs. This role involves teaching essential cognitive,communication, social, and adaptive skills while collaborating with therapists and families to enhance each child's development.

Key Responsibilities:

You shall undertake thefollowing duties as part of their role in supporting pre-school children with learning difficulties:

  • Conduct individual and small group teaching sessions aimed at addressingthe developmental and educational needs of pre-school-aged children withlearning difficulties.
  • Plan, develop, and implement Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs)tailored to each child's unique strengths, challenges, and learning goals.
  • Deliver engaging, play-based instruction that promotes cognitive, motor,language, and social-emotional development in alignment with early childhoodbest practices.
  • Collaborate closely with therapists, allied health professionals, andfamilies to ensure a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to intervention.
  • Monitor each child's progress, maintain accurate records of observationsand outcomes, and adjust instructional strategies and ILPs accordingly.
  • Establish and maintain a structured, supportive, and nurturing learningenvironment that encourages independence, active participation, and positivebehavior.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in early childhoodeducation, special education, or early intervention settings.
  • Experience working with children with special needs,developmental delays, or learning difficulties is preferred.
  • Knowledge& skills to manage behavior through appropriate behavior interventionstrategies.
  • Knowledge of various types of disabilities (e.g., ASD,GDD, CP, Down syndrome, HI, VI)
  • Strong communication, classroom management, andcollaborative skills.
  • Passion for supporting children's growth anddevelopment.
