Driver

. Transport residents from the nursing home for their routine medical

appointments
. Co-ordinate with the Manager in the planning of the route and time of transport.
. Maintain cleanliness and working condition of the van.
. Attends to any other delivery requirements or errands when needed.
. Primary education or equivalent
. Able to speak and understand simple English
. Good organisation ability
. Class 3 Driving

. Defensive Driving

. CPR + AED

Clinical Care

. Assists the registered nurses in the delivery of nursing care to the residents in the Home.
. Assists the physiotherapist in the delivery of therapeutic activities to the residents in the Home
. Helps to maintain a clean, safe and neat environment for the residents in the nursing home.
. Accompanies residents to the hospital/polyclinic for follow-up appointments.

Successful applicants without the qualifications will be sent for Certificate in Community Care (Community Care Traineeship Programme) with all courses funded by the employer.
