Job Description & Requirements
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 4 Driver to support our air cargo operations within the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record and experience in transporting cargo efficiently and securely across island-wide locations, in compliance with traffic regulations and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 4 vehicles to collect and deliver air cargo across island-wide locations.
- Comply with all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Verify cargo against delivery documentation and instructions provided by the cargo controller or supervisor.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or irregularities in cargo promptly.
- Ensure all cargo is properly secured to prevent damage during transportation.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with the controller on delivery and collection status.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
- Support loading and unloading activities and assist warehouse or ramp operations when required.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor or operations team.
Requirements
- Valid Class 4 Driving Licence (Singapore).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant driving experience, preferably in air cargo or logistics operations.
- Familiar with Singapore road networks and airport cargo terminal operations.
- Basic understanding of cargo handling and safety procedures.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks when required.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
