The Stage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the stage and ensuring smooth execution of performances, events, and rehearsals. This role coordinates between performers, technical teams, and management to ensure all stage activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and according to schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate on-site and venue operations department to ensure the venue environment meets all performance requirements for IP characters prior to the show.
- Ensure the sound system and lighting equipment are fully operational prior to the performance.
- Ability to call cues and write show reports.
- Maintain backstage order, assist on-site scene changes conduct safety checks, and handle emergencies or performance interruptions during the show.
- Support Singapore special event team members recruitment.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Stage Management, Theatre, Film & Television Production, Event Management, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a Stage Manager or Assistant Stage Manager for large-scale live performances (touring or resident shows preferred). Prior experience in theme park live entertainment.
- Proficient in show calling, cueing, and technical coordination; solid knowledge of stage safety and emergency procedures; skilled in writing detailed show reports.
- Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin, capable of cross-departmental coordination and preparing reports in both languages.
- Ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
