Job Description

Coordination with Project Managers and Engineers for preparation of technical drawings and submission approval.
Prepare material take-off
Prepare general drawings
Prepare shop fabrication drawing for structural steel works (both welded and bolted joints)
Prepare cutting plan for material procurement
Prepare other drawing, fabrication and installation works as required by QA/QC and Engineers.
Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned including related site matters not mentioned above
Understand project design, quality and construction specifications

Job Requirements

Relevant job experience in oil and gas/offshore/marine industry required
Must know how to operate and draw in AutoCAD.
Possess experience and knowledge in drafting different types of steel joints, both welded and bolted
Proficiency in E3D, Tekla or Revit is a plus.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Good team player. Can work with people of different nationalities harmoniously.
Good communication skills in English both written & spoken.
Must know how to operate MS office (minimum Word and Excel)
Ability to manage time and schedules to meet project requirement
Able to work under pressure
Familiar with steel structural design, construction/fabrication/shop drawings
