Dispatch Driver/Merchandiser

Job Purpose:
To support warehouse, distribution, and merchandising operations by packing, transporting, and merchandising goods in a safe, timely, and efficient manner, ensuring product quality, visibility, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Packing & Warehouse Duties
- Accurately pick, pack, and label goods according to delivery orders.
- Check items for quality, quantity, and condition before dispatch.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area and warehouse.

Dispatch / Delivery Duties
Use own vehicle/mode of transport to deliver goods to customers/outlets on schedule.
-Verify delivery orders against invoices and ensure correct handover of goods.
-Obtain customer signatures and complete delivery documentation.
-Ensure goods are safely transported and handled to prevent damage.
-Follow all traffic rules and company safety procedures.

Merchandising Duties
-Arrange and replenish products on shelves in line with company display standards.
-Rotate stock (FIFO) to minimize expired or damaged goods.
-Place promotional displays and point-of-sale materials (POSM) at assigned outlets.
-Check and report stock levels, shelf condition, and competitor activity.
-Build good rapport with store staff to support smooth merchandising activities.

Requirements:
- Must have own vehicle or mode of transport suitable for deliveries.
- Valid driver's license (if using a motor vehicle).
- Physically fit and able to handle packing, loading, and unloading tasks.
- Experience in packing, delivery, or FMCG merchandising preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in packing and order fulfillment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, or overtime if required.
