Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Transport
- Provide timely delivery and pick-up services within the local area.
- Deliver goods in good condition, ensuring no damage during transit.
- Load and unload vehicles, handling products with care and precision.
- Ensure deliveries match delivery orders, invoices, and follow schedules accurately.
Vehicle Management
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections (e.g., fluids, tires, lights) and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving activities, fuel usage, mileage, and delivery records.
- Ensure company vehicle is kept clean, organized, and in good working condition.
Safety & Compliance
- Operate company vehicles in accordance with traffic regulations and company safety policies.
- Follow all safety standards and operational procedures related to transport and logistics.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Customer & Team Communication
- Communicate effectively with the operations team regarding delivery updates, delays, and on-site issues.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all deliveries and activities
Requirements
- Minimum GCE N or O Level qualification
- Valid Class 4 Singapore driving license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with local roads, traffic patterns, and delivery procedures
- Able to operate pallet jacks, tailgates, and other basic warehouse equipment
- Physically fit
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Able to work well as part of a team and cooperate with other departments
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed
