This leadership role is designed to shape and execute Prudential's next-wave Bancassurance strategy across Asia. The successful candidate will be a client-obsessed business visionary with a track record of building successful partnerships. As a senior member of the Partnership Distribution team, this individual will drive distribution effectiveness & transformation, and sustainable growth in collaboration with Business Unit (BU) leaders across the region.

Regional Growth Leadership

  • Spearhead strategic partnership expansion across Asia & Africa and other emerging markets
  • Define and deliver market-specific growth blueprints aligned with Prudential's long-term vision.

Partnership Strategy & Enablement

  • Forge high-impact relationships with regional and local leadership to unlock new revenue streams.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that enhance partner engagement, optimize channel performance, and deepen customer penetration.

Innovation & Proposition Development

  • Champion the development of differentiated health, protection, and high-net-worth propositions
  • Drive digital acquisition and data-driven distribution capabilities to future-proof the business

Intelligence & Competitive Positioning

  • Integrate customer insights and competitive intelligence into strategic planning.
  • Anticipate market shifts and proactively adapt distribution strategies to maintain market leadership.

Cross-Market Collaboration

  • Align with LBUs to deliver strategic goals in profitability, customer acquisition, and product penetration.
  • Facilitate best-practice sharing and regional synergy across Prudential's bancassurance footprint.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead delivery of enterprise-aligned KPIs across distribution, product innovation, marketing, digital acceleration, and channel expansion
  • Lead and complete regional projects that expand long-term partnership growth and deepen strategic value
  • Shape and endorse business planning frameworks that drive sustainable growth across assigned business units
  • Direct transformational programs that enhance regional PD capabilities and scale distribution effectiveness
  • Align with internal and group-level stakeholders to co-drive strategic imperatives across distribution platforms
  • Strategize and lead the execution of enterprise initiatives to boost customer reach, value proposition, and channel diversification
  • Sponsor regional initiatives to enhance sales productivity and embed robust infrastructure for performance management
  • Govern regional exclusive partnerships at the senior executive level, fostering strategic co-creation

Requirements:

Experienced insurance leader with over 15 years in life insurance and bancassurance, with a strong focus on distribution strategy, digital initiatives, and partner engagement. Known for thoughtful execution, collaborative leadership, and the ability to drive results across regional and local markets.

  • Proven track record in leading bancassurance distribution and digital transformation projects
  • Strong understanding of life insurance financials, product dynamics, and operational levers
  • Effective communicator with well-developed influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Hands-on experience working with local business units, enabling pragmatic and adaptable delivery
  • Proven capabilities in project management, planning, and cross-functional execution
  • Energetic and resilient, with a creative approach to solving problems and navigating complexity
  • Highly organized and self-driven, with a consistent focus on delivering business outcomes
  • Team-oriented mindset with a history of fostering collaboration across business functions
