An established Private Education Institution in Singapore is seeking an experienced Director of Student Recruitment to lead and manage the institution's local and international student recruitment strategy.
This role is responsible for developing recruitment initiatives, managing international agent networks, building strategic partnerships, and overseeing the full student enrolment pipeline for diploma and degree pathway programmes.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in the Private Education sector, international student recruitment, and team leadership.
Develop and implement annual student recruitment strategies for Singapore and international markets.
Identify growth opportunities in regional markets including Southeast Asia and other emerging markets.
Monitor market trends, competitor programmes, and student demand to support recruitment planning.
Develop and manage relationships with international recruitment agents.
Oversee agent onboarding, training, and performance management.
Establish recruitment targets, incentive structures, and compliance guidelines for agents.
Manage recruitment targets and oversee the full recruitment pipeline from lead generation to enrolment.
Monitor recruitment performance and conversion metrics through CRM systems and reporting tools.
Work closely with the Admissions team to ensure efficient application and enrolment processes.
Build partnerships with educational institutions, pathway providers, and industry organisations.
Represent the institution at education fairs, recruitment events, and outreach activities.
Support the development of articulation and collaboration opportunities.
Work with the marketing team to support recruitment campaigns and lead generation activities.
Provide market insights to improve recruitment effectiveness and campaign performance.
Lead and supervise the student recruitment team.
Set team targets and monitor performance against recruitment goals.
Support staff development and training.
Ensure recruitment activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements for Private Education Institutions in Singapore.
Maintain proper documentation and reporting for recruitment activities.
Prepare regular reports on recruitment performance and market trends.
Minimum 10 years of experience in student recruitment, business development, or international education.
At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role within a Private Education Institution or higher education sector.
Proven experience managing international recruitment agents and achieving enrolment targets.
Strong understanding of Singapore Private Education regulations and operational requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to travel for recruitment activities when required.
Additional language skills such as Vietnamese, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, or Burmese will be advantageous.
