We are seeking aDirector of Business Operations & Strategic Projects a proven operator and people leader who can serve as theengine room of the business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection ofstrategy, execution, and team leadership.
Role Overview
As the Director of Business Operations & Strategic Projects, you will:
- Act as theoperational backboneof Ageing Asia ensuring seamless execution of projects and initiatives across the business.
- Lead and align cross-functional teams, instilling discipline, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Take ownership ofday-to-day operations, people management, and project delivery, progressively freeing up the CEO to focus on growth, partnerships, and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Strategic Leadership
- Lead all Ageing Asia initiatives, including theWorld Ageing Festival, international study tours, and community activations.
- Drive project timelines, interdependencies, and stakeholder alignment to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Act as CEO's execution partner translating strategy into operational plans.
Revenue Driven Mindset Towards Budget & Resource Management
- Manage project and operational budgets in line with the annual business plan
- Support the sales team in revenue generation opportunities
- Optimise resource allocation and track ROI across initiatives
Team Management & Leadership
- Coach, motivate, and develop staff to build a high-performance culture for Ageing Asia
- Directly manage project, marketing, and operations teams.
- Partner with sales team to align delivery with commercial goals.
- Brief and manage external vendors and partners to deliver high quality work
Quality Control & Brand Guardian
- Safeguard and elevate theAgeing Asia brandacross events, marketing, and deliverables.
- Establish checkpoints to ensure best-in-class execution and brand consistency.
Operations & Processes
- Own and refine systems, workflows, and reporting structures.
- Introduce best practices in project management, operational efficiency, and cross-team collaboration.
- Serve as the central coordination point for the organisation.
Candidate Profile
- 812+ years experience inbusiness operations, project management, or senior operations leadership(B2B events, trade shows, consulting, agency or related industries preferred).
- Proven ability tolead complex, multi-stakeholder projectsand manage cross-functional teams.
- Strongfinancial acumen, with experience managing budgets and resources.
- Excellent collaborator and communicator, able to influence at all levels.
- High attention to detail and quality, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Thrives in afast-paced, entrepreneurial, purpose-driven environment.
