Job Description

Job Summary:

The Director is responsible for driving top-line revenue and EBITDA in collaboration with Sales Team for The Laurus. This role drives commercial strategy, sales optimization, and market positioning, working in close partnership with brand stakeholders-while remaining independent of day-to-day hotel operations.

The incumbent acts as the portfolio's commercial engine, translating market dynamics into revenue growth, ensuring alignment with brand standards, and unlocking value through disciplined sales execution and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Portfolio Revenue & EBITDA Performance

  • Drive revenue performance for the franchised property, with clear accountability for EBITDA contribution.
  • Develop and execute portfolio-wide commercial strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and total revenue.
  • Identify revenue gaps and deploy targeted interventions to outperform market benchmarks.

2. Sales Strategy & Market Positioning

  • Drive segment-driven sales strategies (corporate, leisure and MICE).
  • Drive demand generation through strategic account management and partnerships.

3. Distribution & Channel Optimization

  • Drive distribution mix across direct, OTA, GDS, and third-party channels to optimize cost of acquisition and profitability.
  • Collaborate with brand and digital teams to enhance online presence, conversion, and revenue capture.
  • Drive direct booking strategies to strengthen margin performance.

4. Revenue Management & Pricing Discipline

  • Champion pricing integrity and yield strategies in collaboration with revenue management team.
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making using market intelligence, forecasting, and performance analytics.
  • Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies dynamically.

5. Strategic Partnerships & Key Accounts

  • Build and maintain high-value relationships with corporate accounts, travel partners, and event organizers.

6. Performance Analytics & Reporting

  • Establish robust reporting frameworks to track revenue, market share, and EBITDA performance.
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies and communicate clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Present regular performance updates, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of commercial leadership experience in hospitality, with strong exposure to multi-property or regional roles.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue and EBITDA in franchise hotel.
  • Deep expertise in sales strategy, revenue management, and distribution channels.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in influencing without direct operational control.
  • Highly analytical, commercially astute, and results-driven.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
  • Influential communicator with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
  • Data-driven decision maker with sharp commercial instincts.
  • Agile and adaptive in dynamic market conditions.
