Zendesk is looking for a performance driven and people minded individual as our Sales Leader (Enterprise)based in Singapore. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead/manage a team of sales specialists in one of our key, strategic global markets of Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand. The role of Sales Manager will be tasked with rapidly the business in one of the most exciting markets for a fast-growing SaaS company.

Reporting into the Regional Vice President of Sales for Asia and working with the Asia leadership team, this role will be responsible for helping to develop a long term growth plan for the territory and executing against that plan. Leading the team to expand our partnerships and develop new business with key accounts across the country you will be experienced in establishing relationships with key go to market partners in SEA and using those relationships to help deliver world-class sales & customer service across the territory.

We seek an outstanding and experienced sales leader who will develop and execute a varied sales strategy to gain market share and build the highest levels of customer and team satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the regional GTM team (from Enterprise Sales, Marketing, Pre-Sales, Success, Services and the Sales Development) to build and execute on a regional sales plan

  • Provide strong leadership, vision and direction.

  • Working with our regional Alliances team to identify, source, onboard appropriate channel & alliances partners and to drive revenue through both direct and indirect channels.

  • Set and execute customer acquisition strategy across Direct inbound and through our Partner ecosystem.

  • Be accountable for the attainment of assigned new customer acquisition financial performance targets and implement strategies for expansion

  • Ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team, includes recruiting, on-boarding and training new sales reps and sales managers.

  • Reporting on all aspects of the business to the Executive Leadership team.

  • Lead overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management

  • Plan and lead at both the strategic and operational levels

Requirements:

  • 15+ years in software/SaaS (ideally in a CX, CRM, AI)

  • 4+ years of sales leadership experience with 6-8 seniors AEs in the team within software/SaaS organizations on a SEA regional role.

  • Experience sales teams selling to enterprise accounts & closing deals ranging from $100KARR to $1M+ ARR deal.
