Our client is a well-established organisation with a diversified portfolio of investments and operating entities. As part of its continued focus on long-term sustainability, disciplined capital allocation and governance excellence, there is now an opportunity for an accomplished finance executive to join the leadership team as Director, Finance & Investments.
Role
Reporting to the senior leadership team, this is a highly strategic appointment with responsibility for the Group's overall finance stewardship, capital management and governance agenda. You will provide leadership across investment strategy, portfolio performance oversight, capital deployment, risk management, audit and compliance, while ensuring alignment between financial objectives and broader organisational priorities. You will lead the development and execution of the Group's investment and governance framework, working closely with portfolio entities to drive value creation, monitor asset performance and evaluate new investment opportunities. This includes overseeing investment due diligence, transaction structuring and deal negotiations, with responsibility for ensuring appropriate governance, risk controls and sustainable returns across the portfolio. As a senior leader, you will also provide board-level reporting and serve as a trusted advisor on financial performance, governance matters and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Ideally, you possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Law or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CFA or other relevant professional qualifications will be highly advantageous. Armed with a minimum of 15 years experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role, you are a team leader with a strong focus on people development.
