In this role, it focuses on strategic and operational finance functions across multiple entities, including oversight of budgets, grants, and financial reporting. It involves close collaboration with senior management to review policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide financial insights that support long-term planning.
Main duties & responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership on financial policies, strategic planning, and insights (including M&A advisory) to support organisational goals
- Oversee multi-year budgets, including utilisation tracking, variance analysis, KPIs, and early risk identification
- Manage financial operations and liquidity across entities, ensuring efficiency, strong SOPs, and compliance with standards
- Strengthen finance and grants governance frameworks, including regulatory requirements, and performance tracking
- Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting while upholding financial governance, accountability, and performance frameworks
- Lead and develop the finance team, driving process improvements, SOP standardisation, technology adoption, and stakeholder engagement
The Talent Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or equivalent are strongly preferred
- At least 15 years of relevant experience, with a strong track record in financial management, budgeting, and reporting, including in a leadership capacity
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience navigating complex environments and cross-functional collaboration
- Expertise in grant management, budget tracking, financial reporting, and risk analysis
- Proven leadership in driving process improvements, digital finance solutions, and developing high-performing teams
