Lead Features and TV Series sales and distribution for all clients across all media in Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.
Work closely with the Vice President, Distribution Sales and the Regional Sales Planning team on the creation and submission of detailed annual sales forecasts and budgets for individual products, clients, and projects.
Devise and execute sales strategies geared towards driving business growth and expansion for the business.
Analyze and manage sales opportunities through multiple distribution windows (including Free-To-Air, Subscription Pay and Basic Television, EST, TVOD,AVOD, and SVOD) to ensure maximum optimization of SPT's content portfolio.
Analyze, manage, and bring to market sales opportunities for unscripted and scripted format adaptations.
Identify new clients and sales opportunities, prepare, negotiate, and present a variety of deals for approval by the management team incorporating strategic recommendations, client, and market based analysis.
Develop in-depth relationship and rapport with clients, and deep knowledge of key clients businesses, objectives, and challenges.
Collaborate with internal teams on key franchise initiatives, new business opportunities, and marketing and promotional strategies to support a range of product stakeholders.
Conduct high level product pitches and negotiations with a wide variety of clients.
Manage day-to-day communications between all internal divisions and clients, ensuring the highest quality of service.
Collaborate closely with the Sales Planning, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Research teams, and other divisions of Sony Pictures and Sony related companies.
Explore acquiring local productions, content, and library for distribution.
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of experience with a proven track record in a sales management or sales leadership role in the media industry.
Experience in negotiating and managing complex distribution and format sales deals.
Fluency in digital deal preparation (analysis, modeling, and term sheet drafting).
Strong knowledge and experience in the SEA medial and scape.
Comprehensive knowledge of traditional TV industry and new digital business models is preferred.
Strong customer focus, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
Highly analytical, able to use and manage large databases and Excel models.
Ability to work proactively and autonomously managing a high workload and servicing a large and diverse client database.
Able to interpret and review long form licensing agreements.
High level communication and presentation skills fluent in both verbal and written English.
