Director, Digital Manufacturing Solutions

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Consultant for Digital Manufacturing Solutions to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in driving the digital transformation of Company A, a world-leading battery manufacturer within our ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a deep background in industrial automation and manufacturing processes, with a proven track record of delivering high-value digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Delivery: Lead the analysis of manufacturing business needs at Company A and translate them into robust digital solution architectures leveraging industrial software platforms.

Value Discovery: Work closely with the Company A AI Service team to identify and quantify opportunities for improvement in production efficiency, quality, and operational cost.

Expert Advisory: Serve as the subject matter expert on manufacturing digitalization, providing guidance on best practices, technology trends, and implementation strategies.

Project Leadership: Drive the execution of digital overlay projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and achieve the defined business outcomes.

Knowledge Building: Act as a key contributor to building the team's core competencies in manufacturing digitalization.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

8+ years of progressive experience, with a significant portion in industrial automation, MES, or Industrial IoT.

Must-have: Deep hands-on experience with industrial software platforms from leading vendors such as OSIsoft (PI System), Siemens, or Schneider Electric.

Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and key performance indicators in discrete or process manufacturing.

Demonstrated experience in solution consulting, architecture design, or value engineering for manufacturing clients.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business leaders.

Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.
