Job Description

The Digital & Technology Director is accountable for the successful delivery, performance, and continuous improvement the client's technology and data solutions. This role provides strategic digital leadership, overseeing multiple digital workstreams and ensuring alignment between business needs and the technology roadmap.

Key responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Roadmap Ownership

  • Lead the vision, development, and delivery of the client's technology and data strategy.
  • Translate business needs, user requirements, and strategic priorities into a clear and actionable technology roadmap.
  • Facilitate agreement and alignment across stakeholders on roadmap priorities, scope, and sequencing.
  • Develop and iterate roadmap to deliver the client's D&T and broader CRES objectives and outcomes with achievable, and supports organisational objectives.

Programme & Workstream Oversight

  • Manage and oversee core digital workstreams, including: (A) Portfolio Data & Analytics, (B) BIM (Building Information Modelling), (C) Project Information Management Systems and (D) Hive Platform
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to workstream leads, ensuring coordinated delivery and cross-team alignment.
  • Ensure digital solutions are designed, built, and deployed to meet quality, security, and user experience standards.

Delivery Management & Coordination

  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery of activities required to meet quarterly priorities and roadmap commitments.
  • Monitor progress of all digital projects, ensuring milestones, budgets, and resource plans are on track.
  • Drive delivery, encourage agile ways of working, and promote continuous improvement.

Governance, Reporting & Risk Management

  • Provide clear, timely reporting on progress, risks, dependencies, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate issues, risks, and blockers to ensure delivery remains on track.
  • Establish strong governance practices to support decision-making, accountability, and transparency.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and digital teams, ensuring alignment and shared understanding.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to prioritise digital opportunities and maintain clarity around business needs.
  • Foster collaborative between digital and wider functional teams and, ensuring a unified, consistent digital approach.
  • Act as escalation channel to client's Portfolio Management Director.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Champion best practices, emerging technologies, and innovation opportunities that can enhance the organisation's digital capability.
  • Ensure digital solutions evolve to meet changing business needs, user expectations, and industry standards.
  • Comfort challenging stakeholder (partner and client's stakeholders) assumptions to drive the right solution.

Requirements

  • 10 years + proven experience leading multi-disciplinary digital programmes or portfolios across APAC.
  • Strong capability in technology strategy, digital transformation, and roadmap development.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences in simplified language.
  • Adept at risk management, progress reporting, and working across complex dependencies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple digital workstreams including data, BIM, systems, platforms, or similar digital domains.
  • Comfortable to work in fast paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
