Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage salon staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement operational and financial guidelines in coordination with senior management.
- Ensure staff discipline, productivity, and professional standards are consistently maintained.
- Stay updated on current and emerging hair and beauty trends to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are strictly followed.
- Monitor and maintain all salon equipment to ensure proper functioning and customer safety.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure positive client experiences.
- Support staff training and development to enhance service quality and performance.
Work Conditions
- The role involves both administrative duties (paperwork, reporting, scheduling) and hands-on supervision within the salon.
- The Director may occasionally perform hairdressing services when required.
- Working days are primarily weekdays, with possible weekend or public holiday shifts based on business needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- No specific academic degree is required however, formal beauty or hairdressing courses are an advantage.
- Practical experience in the salon industry is essential and highly valued over academic background.
- Candidates with leadership or management experience in the beauty industry are preferred.
