We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to lead and expand our student recruitment efforts in the China market. The role is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies, driving enrolment growth, and strengthening partnerships with agents and institutional stakeholders in China.

This position requires strong market knowledge, proven sales capability, and the ability to engage effectively with Chinese partners and prospective students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive student recruitment strategy and execution for the China market
  • Achieve agreed enrolment and revenue targets through effective market planning and outreach
  • Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with recruitment agents, partners, and institutions in China
  • Identify new market opportunities and implement initiatives to grow student enrolment
  • Monitor agent performance and ensure alignment with recruitment objectives
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and student demand to refine recruitment strategies
  • Represent the organisation at education fairs, recruitment events, and partner meetings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth conversion from recruitment to enrolment
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment performance and market developments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (backgrounds in education, psychology, business, or related fields are advantageous)
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the education sector, preferably in international student recruitment
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding student recruitment or sales targets
  • Strong understanding of the China education market, including recruitment agents and institutional partnerships
  • Demonstrated experience working with education institutions, recruitment agents, or education consultancies
  • Strong understanding of student recruitment cycles, admissions processes, and enrolment conversion
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese, required for effective engagement with China-based partners and students
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to broader organisational goals
