Job Description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

  • Drive and accelerate profitable and sustainable market share growth across SEA tthrough the design and execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Elevate organizational effectiveness by simplifying processes and optimizing the operating model to eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Enable faster, more effective decision-making through strong stakeholder alignment, transparency, and data-driven insights.
  • Responsible for decoding market dynamics, evangelizing cutting-edge data and AI initiatives, and managing a portfolio of high-impact strategic projects

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Planning and Impact

  • Drive the development and execution of the SEA Strategic Business Plan with the GM and leadership team across brand, channels, and enabling functions.
  • Lead strategic planning and key projects
  • Evaluate, design and implement new or optimized commercial models for SEA and SEA countries.
  • Provide robust oversight, coordination, and management of the company's strategic priorities portfolio using a single, systematic project management approach across the SEA region.
  • Lead and drive high-stakes Moonshot planning and ambitious strategic frameworks transforming visionary ideas into regional execution.
  • Facilitate business reviews, strategy workshops and yearly priorities.

Change Management / Project and Process Management

  • Drive key strategic initiatives and execution end to end across SEA SLT stakeholders.
  • Manage risks, escalate decisions, and secure stakeholder alignment.
  • Prioritize and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to maximise impact.
  • Standardize and simplify processes in line with global guidelines
  • Lead and implement organizational and process transformation initiatives to support business objectives.

Operating Model Evolution and Head Office Management

  • Drive the SEA Head Office operating model to support business growth.
  • Facilitate SLT governance, management routines, and executive engagements.
  • Track, monitor and report key business KPIs for SEA.
  • Act as the connection between regional leadership, local country teams, and global stakeholders to ensure synchronized execution of business goals
  • Adapt and deploy Head Office frameworks to SEA.
  • Plan and coordinate Head Office offsites and market visits.

Business Intelligence

  • Leverage data and insights to make strategic choices and identify further growth opportunities.
  • Translate analytics into actionable business recommendations.
  • Act as the regional champion for Data & Analytics and AI initiatives, fostering a data-driven culture across various departments in SEA

Leadership & Communication

  • Build team capabilities and drive a high-performance culture.
  • Lead with strong leadership presence and role model adidas values through effective communication.

Key Relationships

  • GM and Senior Leadership team of adidas SEA
  • EM BD function
  • SEA DTC, E-Com, and Wholesale/Franchise, Brand teams
  • Country Channel and Brand teams
  • EM Commercial Leads and Business Development/PMO
  • SEA and EM Support Functions including IT, Finance, Operations, HR

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Leadership: Proven ability to influence cross functionally and at a senior levels of the organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking capability with clear thought leadership approach.
  • Sound business acumen.
  • MS Office especially Excel and Powerpoint: Advanced
  • High personal impact and effective communication skills that articulate a clear thought process.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is a must

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in finance, commercial, strategy, project, or change management within a matrixed, multi-channel or consulting environment
  • University degree in business preferably with finance, marketing or sales.
  • Industry: Preferably from apparel/footwear/fashion or FMCG industry
