Role:
The Director, Business Development will lead strategic growth initiatives within the MedTech segment, driving revenue expansion, market penetration, and long-term partnerships. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing commercial strategies, and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth & Market ExpansionDevelop and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational goals.Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including emerging technologies, geographic expansion, and new customer segments.Conduct market intelligence analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Revenue Generation & Pipeline ManagementOwn and drive the business development pipeline, from opportunity identification to deal closure.Achieve revenue and growth targets through strategic partnerships, client acquisition, and account expansion.Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions with clients and partners.
- Partnerships & Stakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare providers, OEMs, distributors, and regulatory bodies.Establish strategic alliances, joint ventures, and collaboration opportunities.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms.
- Product & Solution PositioningCollaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations) to align product offerings with market needs.Support go-to-market strategies for new product launches and innovations.Provide customer insights to influence product development and portfolio strategy.
- Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop the business development team.Foster a high-performance, results-driven culture.Align team objectives with overall corporate strategy.
