Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Credit, Collections, and Payments to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging business needs with technology solutions, ensuring effective delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder & Communication Management:
- Manage end-to-end project engagement including planning, scope, risks, and vendor coordination
- Maintain stakeholder expectations through structured governance processes
- Deliver clear and concise executive-level communication on solutions and progress
Process & Delivery Execution:
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications
- Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement
- Design end-to-end business processes and customer journeys
- Create detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria for development teams
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Developers to refine requirements
- Ensure consistency and quality of user stories and documentation
- Support UI/UX design requirements where applicable
- Identify dependencies, risks, and manage scope changes effectively
- Ensure non-functional requirements are captured and addressed
- Work closely with testing teams to define test scenarios and validate outcomes
- Support operational readiness and implementation activities
Key Requirements:
- 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Credit, Collections, or Payments domain
- Strong understanding of collections processes and recovery lifecycle
- Experience in analyzing workflows and driving process improvements
- Ability to design dashboards and KPIs for tracking collections performance
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in debt recovery
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Domain expertise in Credit Cards, Loans, Payments, and Collections
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile / Scrum environments
- Exposure to banking or financial services organizations
