Role and responsibilities Director of Accounting and Reporting

This role leads the global Corporate Finance function, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory, IFRS, and Management financial statements. The Corporate Finance function owns global consolidation, financial controls, and external reporting to ensure efficient and effective controlled processes and accurate consolidated financial statements. This role is the global finance owner for Microsoft Dynamics (ERP System) Master Data and financial systems and OneStream consolidation tool; maintenance of Chart of Accounts (COA), cost center management, finance policies, and system cost rates (R&D and Delivery team).

Additional responsibilities include the following:

• Manage the preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and US SEC forms (when applicable), including 10Q, 10K, Proxy filings, etc
• Oversee the company&aposs month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and reporting processes and shared accounting services.
• Collaborate with the company&aposs external auditors to manage the audit process and ensure timely completion of audits.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate data and effective/efficient processes. This includes driving closure and improvements to audit-identified action items.
• Indirectly manage an international accounting team, ensuring effective communication, training, and development of staff members.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and communicate these changes to the team and other stakeholders as appropriate.
• Continuously improve accounting and reporting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement tools, processes, and resources needed to prepare for future public company status.
• Lead the transformation of our finance systems, including the selection, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of new systems and processes.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

This role directly manages a small corporate finance team directly with dotted line engagement from the regional finance directors to ensure accurate financial results are delivered in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8+ years Finance experience in software/high-tech/service industry, with at least 5 years Big four background and 3 years in-house Headquarter Financial Consolidation and FP&A experience in similar role
• Publicly listed company experience a requirement
• Degree holder in Finance/Accounting
• CPA/ACCA holder
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
