We are seeking an experienced Dimensional Controller Inspector. The ideal candidate will ensure all fabricated structures, piping, and equipment meet dimensional accuracy and project specifications throughout fabrication and integration phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct dimensional surveys using laser scanning, total stations, or similar tools.
- Verify alignment, elevation, and fit-up of structures, modules, and equipment.
- Prepare dimensional reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Identify deviations and support resolution of non-conformance.
- Work closely with QA/QC, Engineering, and Construction teams to ensure quality and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in dimensional control or survey roles in oil & gas or heavy fabrication.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and 3D model interpretation.
- Experience with large offshore projects (FPU/FPSO) is an advantage.
