We are seeking an experienced Digital Software Transformation Architect to join our IT consulting practice, focusing on digital transformation, cloud migration, and data modernization initiatives. This role combines technical leadership with business development, requiring active participation in pre-sales activities and deployment to our most strategic client accounts. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex technical solutions and business outcomes while driving revenue growth through architectural excellence.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Design and architect comprehensive solutions for digital transformation, cloud migration, and data modernization projects
- Hands-on development effort on key initiatives with the ability to mentor the development teams
- Create technical roadmaps and solution blueprints that align with client business objectives
- Define integration strategies for hybrid and cloud-native applications
- Establish architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across client engagements
- Conduct technical risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies
Pre-Sales & Business Development
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and qualify technical opportunities
- Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective clients
- Develop compelling technical proposals and solution presentations
- Participate in client meetings, workshops and build proof-of-concept
- Provide technical expertise during contract negotiations and scope definition
- Contribute to RFP responses and technical documentation for proposals
Client Engagement & Strategic Account Management
- Serve as primary technical advisor for strategic enterprise accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client technical stakeholders and decision-makers
- Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and industry trends
- Mentor client development teams and provide knowledge transfer
- Ensure successful project delivery through architectural governance and oversight
Innovation & Thought Leadership
- Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices
- Contribute to the development of accelerators, frameworks, and reusable assets
- Participate in technical communities and represent the company at industry events
- Drive innovation initiatives and prototype development for new service offerings
Profile
- Diploma inComputer Science or Technology or any related field.
- 8+ years of software development and architecture experience5+ years of experience in IT consulting or professional services environment
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures
- Strong background in microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices
- Experience with data architecture, analytics platforms, and modern data stack technologies
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and API design principles
- Proven track record in pre-sales technical support and client-facing roles
