Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of common services at the hypervisor level and above, working with platforms such as Nutanix and Hyper-V.
- Provision and manage virtual machines, user access rights, network configurations, and related system resources.
- Ensure timely creation and administration of user accounts in compliance with defined policies, roles, and access privileges.
- Install, configure, and maintain DevSecOps tools and services to ensure high availability and performance.
- Manage and configure virtual infrastructure components such as VLANs, Active Directory (AD), DNS, and Certificate Authority (CA) servers.
- Perform regular system upgrades, patching, and maintenance to ensure systems remain secure and up to date with the latest fixes and vulnerability mitigations.
- Support client inquiries and service requests related to DevSecOps tools and services.
- Maintain and update technical documentation for DevSecOps resources and processes.
- Collaborate closely with team members to deliver operational support and infrastructure services.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, patching, and maintaining systems such as CentOS, Windows, RHEL, Nutanix, and similar environments.
- Strong knowledge and experience in system administration practices.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps principles, and industry best practices in cloud computing.
- Good understanding of containerisation technologies and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, OKD, and OpenShift.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell (Windows) and/or Bash (Linux).
- Experience with configuration automation tools such as Ansible is advantageous.
- Exposure to tools such as Nutanix Prism, GitLab, Parasoft, Fortify, ClearML, OpenShift, or similar technologies is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders and users.
- A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
