DevOps Engineer (CI/CD & Cloud Infrastructure) 1-Year Contract

Location: Central, Singapore
Contract: 12 months (potential extension based on project needs)

About the Role
We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to strengthen CI/CD automation and reliability for Salesforce-based applications. You'll build and maintain robust pipelines in SHIP-HATS, optimise GitLab CI/CD, and partner closely with engineering and test automation teams to improve delivery speed, stability, and compliance. You'll also support cloud infrastructure operations, container tooling, and Day-2 issue resolution (e.g., Docker runners).

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Automation

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines in SHIP-HATS
• Utilise and optimise GitLab CI/CD to streamline software delivery and deployment practices
• Collaborate with engineering and test automation teams to improve CI/CD workflows and release efficiency
• Automate repetitive tasks and enhance pipelines using Bash and/or Python
  
  

Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure
• Support containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Monitor, detect, and resolve infrastructure issues, including CI/CD components such as Docker runners
  
  

Security & Compliance

• Ensure security and compliance requirements are met for Salesforce-based applications throughout the SDLC
• Embed secure practices into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., controls, checks, auditability, and governance)
  
  

Requirements

Must-Have

• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Strong working knowledge of GitLab CI/CD
• Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python for automation
• Practical knowledge of Docker and exposure to Kubernetes
• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure and handling Day-2 operational issues (monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution)
• Good collaboration skillscomfortable working across engineering, QA/test automation, and stakeholders
  
  

Good-to-Have

• Experience supporting Salesforce delivery pipelines or Salesforce application releases
• Familiarity with compliance-controlled environments (e.g., audit trails, approvals, segregation of duties)
• Experience with runner management (e.g., scaling, stability, performance optimisation)
