Apply cloud computing expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy upgrades, fixes, and enhancements in line with organisational security and compliance standards.
Implement and manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes and tools to enable agile delivery of high-quality software based on user feedback.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for build processes, software release, application deployment, and system/application management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance engineering
Perform automated system-level vulnerability assessments, apply system and application hardening measures, and document remediation steps in line with cybersecurity best practices.
Liaise with authorised third-party software and cloud service providers to manage and resolve technical issues, ensuring contractual and data protection obligations are met.
Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation to support system operations, security audits, and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
Proven experience in Linux and/or Windows Systems Administration.
Experience configuring DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus, and Nexus IQ.
Familiarity with container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, and Quay.
Working knowledge of AWS Cloud services such as EC2, Network Load Balancer, Application Load Balancer, Web Application Firewall, Security Group, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
Demonstrated experience in virtualisation or container technology, as well as establishing CI/CD processes and tools.
Knowledge of application development and middleware configuration.
Understanding of networking protocols and services (e.g., SFTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing) will be an added advantage.
Experience in database setup and maintenance will be an added advantage.
