What you will be working on
This role supports the team in driving economic analysis, research and policy insights to strengthen Singapore's enterprise financing ecosystem.
Economic analysis, research and policy insights
Conduct economic research and analysis to generate insights that strengthen companies access to financing for growth, scaling, and job creation.
Develop dashboards and models to monitor the effectiveness of the financing ecosystem, including analysing gaps in capital access and capital flows.
Contribute to real-time sensing and early warning efforts to identify market trends and potential stress points affecting enterprise financing.
Analyse effectiveness of enterprise financing support schemes, including assessing their impact on companies growth and economic contribution, and contribute to evidence-based policy recommendations.
Translate analytical findings into insights to inform policy design and improvements.
What we are looking for
What You'll Be Using and Applying
Background in econometrics, finance, economics, statistics, or data analytics, with at least 3 years of relevant experience
Ability to apply data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. R, Python, Tableau) in a work setting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in economic research and policy work.
Experience in the financing ecosystem for companies will be an advantage.
