Role and Responsibilities:
- Incumbent will work in two rotating shifts of 12 hours - including night shifts
- Handle hardware and software first level incidents and queries
- Follow established guidelines/processes for escalation
- Provide technical support for computer hardware and software
- Responsible for installing hardware and computer peripherals on user's systems
- Provide IT support to users and patrons
- Work on monthly and weekly patching processes
- Coordinate with end users for patching
Requirements:
- Diploma/ITE educated in hardware/software engineering
- 1+ year of technical support experience
- Able to work in a 24x7 shift (including overnight shifts)
- Able to troubleshoot and maintain Windows PCs, M365, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, VDI, VPN etc.
- Basic knowledge on Networking - Routing and Switching
- Knowledge and experience in handling peripherals like printers, scanners, POS systems etc.
- Experience with SCCM is a good to have
- ITIL process knowledge is a good to have
